Taliparamba is a city and a municipality divided into 44 wards in the Kannur district, State of Kerala, spread over an area of 43.05 km2. The surrounding area (including the villages of Pattuvam, Kuttikkol, Karimbam) features lush green fields and low rolling hills. Taliparamba has a very easy access to Cherukunnu ,Kalliasseri , Kannapuram , Narath , Pappinisseri areas in Kannur taluk. A small portion of Payyanur and Irikkur block panchayats are also in the Taliparamba Taluk. The Pazhayangadi a well known NRI pocket which is mother township that spreads over in the Madayi and Ezhome Panchayaths with Kozhibazar, Matool, Muttam, Madayi, Cherukunnu, and Ezhome.
